The Association of International Photography Art Dealers, or AIPAD, hosted what is known as one of the most important photographic exhibitions in the field for its 33rd year. Last week the Park Avenue Armory was filled with over 80 dealers showing flicks and contemporary installations from vintage Daguerreotypes (a process developed in the early 19th century), to digital LED displays.
The event also included an opening Gala to raise funds for inMotion, a non-profit organization providing legal services for low-income women, and panel discussions. There was something for every fan of photography to enjoy, from the fantastic to historic events.
