The first time I saw this quintet from South London was at a warehouse party in 2010. The audience didn’t know what hit them – they were totally fresh and out of this world!
Since that ground-breaking Hackney gig, they’ve performed with The Invisibles, have been on BBC Radio with Gilles Peterson and solidified their place in the UK jazz scene. Their quirky, dynamic blend of electro-jazz fused with funk and disco-house puts them somewhere between BADBADNOTGOOD and Portico Quartet.
