On the height of his new album release, tastemakers, industry leaders, fellow emcees and special invited guests were able shared a special moment with Def Jam recording artist, NaS. Held at the Moet & Chandon Rose Lounge in the Meatpacking District of NYC, this sophisticated venue greeted their guests with complimentary bottles of Moet Rose, an extremely friendly staff, a tasty selection of hors d’oeuvres, and dope music led by Q-Tip, who served as the deejay for the evening. An excited NaS, with cigar in hand, glowed as he basked in the moment–his moment.
The sophistication of this album release was unlike any other hip-hop event. Everything about it breathed class. Guests such as the beautiful Tyson Beckford (hey boo!), Anthony Hamilton, Jermaine Dupree, Teyana Taylor, Swizz Beatz, Miguel, Wale, Stephen Hill, and Busta Rhymes shared in the excitement with NaS as they toasted to the success of another album. Jay-Z and Beyonce also stopped through to congratulate him for this special occasion.
Life is good for NaS right now. Not only was the event a success, but the album is pretty amazing. Aside from the overall dope atmosphere that took over the night, folks who were listening to the album as it was previewing over the speakers agreed that this may be his best album yet. With features such as Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, Large Professor, and the late Amy Winehouse, Life Is Good is a perfect example of what can happen to an artist when he successfully triumphs every situation that has been thrown their way.
