We decided to meet up at The Diner with my daughter who was present due to no school this day, but she also a fan of art too all but made sense to sit and talk with an inspiration, artist and forward thinker like Aniekan Udofia. We talked about today’s art, Hip Hop (not rap…), social media, the brain and how it works, and his new exhibition “The Village B-Boy” . He also blessed my daughter with a lesson in art so get comfortable and enjoi the photo interview…

We talked about the influence that he has incooperated into his most recent works and what and where he wants to do next with his art…

Here he talks to my daughter about how he was taught how to color by his older sister….

He also explains his mind and how it works when it comes to creating ideas and concepts for his work…

He has completed many murals throughout the Washington, D.C. area. As well as been published by major publications. One of his most recent work sits high above 15 st. & U st.

along with this commissioned piece of the legendary Duke Ellington above where he lived…

His most recent work “The Village B-Boy” at Lamont Bishop Gallery in Washington, D.C. is a must see.
