We all know that the UK produces some of the best female artists in the world. (Adele, Amy Winehouse, Kate Bush, etc). So to be honest, I shouldn’t be surprised that 13 year old Mahalia is continuing the tradition. The girl, barely a teenager, writes some amazing organic, heartfelt, and dare I say mature songs, armed only with a guitar.

There is such beauty and grace in this song. It thrives in its simplicity. Mahalia’s low, raspy voice adds some East Midlands grit on top of the instrumental. Her other acoustic tracks are equally as stunning.
