ALBUM PREVIEW: Saul Williams – Volcanic Sunlight

Album Preview: Saul Williams – Volcanic Sunlight (via Amazon France)

Man, the world is good. The Lakers lost, and now there a new Saul Williams release on the horizon. It seems like Saul has been quiet since his last full length, The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust!, the concept produced by Trent Reznor which was made famous for it’s pay what you will scheme. That album, along with the accompanying tour, was beyond stellar (I bought it twice), and I’m more than glad to see Saul make his return.

Seriously, this world is more messed up than ever. I’m curious to hear Saul’s take on the world since his last effort. Interestingly enough, this new album, Volcanic Sunlight, seems to take more an electro pop vibe. However, the tracks still retain that Saul Williams edge we remember.

Right now, it seems like this project is only available in France. Let’s hope to God this album makes it to our shores. (via Bold As Love)
