I like my pop music drenched in funk, bass and synth, which is why I took an immediate liking to an outfit out of Portland by the name of Yacht. They just released a new track called “Dystopia (The Earth is on Fire)” and for those of you already freaked out with all the crazy shit going on in the world right now then you may want to steer clear of this joint. With opening lyrics like “The Earth, the Earth is on fire! We don’t have no daughter, Let the motherfucker burn!” you know right off the bat that Yacht’s about to go H.A.M on this one.
