DC: Couch Sessions at The Social Learning Summit

This Saturday I’ll be at American University for the Becoming Budding Bloggers panel at American University this Saturday as a part of the inaugural Social Learning Summit, sponsored by the AU Social Media Club. I’m going to be on the panel with AU students Kaitlin Carpenter, If you’re in DC, check out this weekend event which discusses what’s next in education and social media. As the panel description says:

Sure, Facebook and Twitter are hot topics today, but blogging is still at the heart of social media and online communication. This panel will explore the how and why of blogging for today’s students, and explore how blogging itself can be used to learn from each other and with each other.

I’m excited to be on the panel with American University Students Kaitlin Carpenter and Jessica Darmawan, in addition to SMCEDU Advisory Board Member Andi Narvaez and Washington Post Pop Music Critic Chris Richards.

There are several other great panels and speakers during the three day event. A weekend pass is only $10!
