As we’ve noted several times this year, the cinematic soundtrack experience is something which is making somewhat of a comeback. The Inception score has even the most mainstream of people talking, and the Daft Punk Tron Legacy Soundtrack seems to be more popular than the movie itself.
Imani Waddy’s Love Letters to Yellow is not a film score but, as Apple Juice Break confirms, it should be. The relaxing rhythms of Imani’s production create a viceral world that only a motion picture can produce. It’s no coincidence that Imani is a part of LA’s Triangle Circle Triangle Square movement, along with Nikko Gray and Afta-1. Check it.
