Palladium Boots has been creating some uber-dope documentaries this past year. We already spotlighted the London Pirate Radio doc earlier this year, and I’m glad to see that they have focused their lenses on Detroit this time around.
Oddly enough they recruit Jackass’ Johnny Knoxville to enter the Motor City, where he chops it up with the homie Black Milk among others. It’s a very well put together and thoughtful documentary. Check it.
Once the fourth-largest metropolis in America—some have called it the Death of the American Dream. Today, the young people of the Motor City are making it their own DIY paradise where rules are second to passion and creativity. They are creating the new Detroit on their own terms, against real adversity. We put our boots on and went exploring.
And stay tuned for another dope Detroit documentary this fall.
