Chicago’s Rhymefest is one of America’s most underrated rappers. The dude put out the excellent Blue Collar only to see it fail to even reach 5 figures in sales–and that was before people stopped buy music en masse.

However, 2010 sees ‘fest making a comeback with the MC, especially with this laid back “3-D” video featuring the homie Phonte. The artistry in this vid is quite amazing and is a fitting return for the dude.

Ek Che dropped yesterday.

    Wait, you’re saying it sold 9,999 units or less?? I know it was a severe under-performer but that just doesn’t sound right….

    I heard the final tally was rather bad. Maybe 2k sold on the first day? Am I wrong? Let me check the numbers and make corrections if possible.

    Either way, it was a brilliant album that was completely slept on.
