Songs for Summer Nights: Blue Six – You Used to Rock feat. Tabitha Fair
Blue Six is the alias name of Jay Denes who is a producer and founder of the SF/NY record label Naked Music. Since the 90′s both have been widely known for the plethora of hot soul/deep house music they’ve put out and yesterday my Bay Area homeboy sent me this lovely new track called ”You Used to Rock” – which is off of the third Blue Six album, Noesis. Vocals are provided by an unsigned artist out of NYC named Tabitha Fair.
For some reason I feel like it has been a while since I’ve heard any really good soulful-house music but I’m glad I got put on to this one right in time for the summer solstice. Take a listen below.
