Dude…there’s a certain texture and soulful truth that comes from those psych records…the atmosphere in the sounds…Jay could have blacked the slap out on these jawns. Pound for pound this slays a good 85% of the beats chosen for the project. But J is strategic, he’s a business man…sometimes at the sacrifice of being as artistic as he could be (…he said it himself on ‘Moment of Clarity’).

Anyways…dope interview. Dope sounds. And yo’…did Goose design that site too? All around craziness.

Dear Daisy is unreal. I can practically hear Jay doing something quiet over it. I can’t help but hear Atmosphere on Rise and Walkaway though. Real talented, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Alex Goose is one of the greatest individuals I’ve ever met period. He’s a real crafty, humble spirited person. Although he may not listen to Hip Hop too often, it’s definitely in his soul which is very respectable!

Excellence my man…From the concept to the first interview. Genre preference aside, the fact that Alex’s musical interests and knowledge are so broad and he’s able to convey that through hip hop tracks (And this guy doesn’t even listen to hip hop!) shows once again that the days of standard “boom-boom-tick-tick-a-boom-tick” hip hop track are over. You can still keep it hip hop and organic, reach the Hip Hop Heads and not sound dated if you know what you’re doing.
