I gotta say, I didn’t know what expect when I showed up at G Fine Art on 14th street last Tuesday. I knew that Radioclit’s Johan Hugo was going to be in the building, but I certainly was not expecting Ms. Terry Lynn to actually be performing tracks from their new collabo It Was Written live.

Even though DC is steadily cementing its swagger in the nationwide events scene, the crowd for that night’s event seemed indifferent to the performance and most certainly there for the free beer. Even though Lynn finally got the crowd to get into the performance, it was almost too little too late by the end.

It’s all good. I got to enjoy a great performance and some free beer. If you were not in the building, you really missed out.
