This is, quite possibly the funniest thing I’ve seen all year. Read between the lines–it’s a very scathing satirical take on suburbia, most specifically, the Clarendon/Ballston area of suburban DC. Watch for the drop about the Green Line of the DC Metro–HILARIOUS. (For those who don’t know, the Green line goes to areas where the “minorities” live.)
If you don’t live in the DC area, some of the jokes might not make sense to you. But for the most part, I feel like generic chain stores and a multitude of Starbucks is a universal thing that everyone has experienced at least somewhere in America.
(side note: I used to live in Northern VA, so I spent a lot of time in Arlington. I don’t own a pair of brown flip-flops tho!!)
