Blu - HerFavoriteColo(u)r

HerFavoriteColo(u)r is a very dope mixtape by West Coast artist Blu, with production handled by the dude himself. After a crazy three day weekend, this mixtape is hitting the spot with its jazz/film noir/trip-hop influences. After only a few days, it’s already reached “classic” status on the Internets, and I think it is the best mixtape to be released this year so far. I’m trying to figure out all of the movie references included in this mixtape, especially the one on Track 5. (Hat tip: Nerd With Swag)

    Oh yes…this is an amazing mixtape. Oh, and if your talking about all the cursing/sex talk at the start of track 5, lol….it’s Julia Roberts and Clive Owen from “Closer”.
