Mos Def – Quiet Dog

I almost forgot that Mos Def was releasing an album soon. The Brooklyn MC’s PR people are real quiet, even though The Ecstatic supposedly drops next month. Quiet Dog is the third single to leak and the upbeat track is sorta so-so to me. I think Mos tries too hard sometimes, and Quiet Dog comes off to me like a very poorly executed imitation of K-OS’ Crabbuckit to me.
