@Mike T….whoops, sorry about that. I tend to have at least two repeating albums every year. I replaced it with People Under The Stairs – FUN DMC

@Cam – Yeah, I threw in the EP’s into the list too. My defintion for”album” is a tad suspect! And yeah, the T.I. was decent, but didn’t get enough spins to get a hihg ranking

@Dwayne – I have Tronic on the TO DO list. Trust me.

@himalaya – The Kunx was nice, but again, not enough spins. Are you serious about Fleet Foxes? I couldn’t get into them. Enough of this inidie stuff, I need some real rock in my life.

@DC Music – Yeah, DC Held its own this year. Hopefully good things in 2009!

@Roxy – Well…In Rainbows was more of a 2007 album for me, so it didn’t make this list. I think the Internet only release was October or something. Yeah, it’s one of those “grey” areas since the CD was released in ’08. If you like Connected then you will like the new FE. I can see you liking the Lykke as well.

Great list! I have yet to pick up the latest Foreign Exchange album but I’m a big fan of Connected. There are a few in the top 15 I don’t own but after reading this, I’m intrigued and I suspect I’ll be picking up Lykke Li, Brittany Bosco, and Danny in the near future. Thanks!

good selections. I’m angry at TI for paper trail though. Too pop. WHERE IS JEEZY!!!!! The Recession didn’t really have much to do with the real recession but that joint cranked!!!!

And yeah, the mixtape phenomenon. But I think it’d be even iller if there was an EP list. Those are like the mixtapes for non-hip hop. lol.

I like the top 15, good choices. It’s funny to see how little hip hop shows up in the top 15…………….also , u need to come up with one more album to replace # 37 or # 44 cuz there both the same. I think I need to go listen to Femi Kuti’s album today cuz it made the list twice !! (have i been sleepin’?)
