Personally, the jury is still out on Charles Hamilton. Of all the “new class” rappers, I think I’m feeling him the least. There is nothing about this dude that is really exceptional. He’s not bad, but doesn’t stand out either. However, this song is a banger–for some reason it has a Pharcyde vibe to it, but yet has pop sensibilities. It also has a hook that everybody can agree with! Seriously, there really ain’t nothin’ like a Brooklyn girl.

Update: Seeing this video reminds me that I need to get to New York REAL soon…
