Canadian rapper K-OS has been quiet since his 2006 album Atlantis: Hymns for Disco. While some people might dismiss this dude as the poor man’s Wyclef, others know better, and the dude has gotten countless awards and sales in his native country. His 2004 album Joyful Rebellion remains a classic to this day. K-OS is dropping a new album in March 09 titled Yes, and three tracks leaked onto the Internets today. While most people would describe K-OS’s music as a little out there, it seems like the dude is getting back to his hip-hop basics this time around. So far, I”m liking what I’m hearing. What do y’all think?

K-Os … the songs are absolutely rich. He’s always rising – as an artist as well as a human being.

I’d still like to hear Astronaut. There is an error with the download.

K-OS is with out a doubt, no poor man’s WyClef. As much as I dig ‘Clef and the Fugees, K-OS puts him too shame. He is incredible. The most original, creative, and experimental artist in hip/hop i’ve heard in ages. He is my favortie musician currently making music and one of my favorite rappers as well.
