Podcast: Kidz In The Hall

It’s been a while since we had a podcast…..I know people have been asking me about it, and we’ve been dark since May, HOWEVER, we return to the podcast game with a special guest–Nawledge and Double-O from Kidz In The Hall.

You might know Kidz in the Hall from their album, School was my Hustle, which dropped in 2006, or their new album, The IN Crowd, which dropped this year, and features guest spots from Phonte, Gym Class Heroes, Camp Lo, and of course, Estelle who adds her own touch to the first single, Love Hangover. We recorded this podcast on November 1st, three days before the historic Presidential election during their DC stop on the Murs for President tour. The Kidz talk about their favorite cities, their work for Obama, Estelle, and possible beef with Asher Roth?

This podcast also marks the return of Lady Glock to the Interview chair. We had a lot of fun doing this one, and I’m including the unedited full Podcast available for download so you can catch everything that didn’t make it in the official version.

do you have a site email?

  • brandUn DeShay

I check up on your site periodically and now that I have a reason to email you, I want say I like what you do with it. I kill time easy just going through the posts on my way to school on my phone. Really, what you do is unique, trust me, I know. I’m sure youre probably a reader of sites too, so you now how many there are and how crazy it is to stay original. I probably read like 20-some sites myself.

But the reason i came at you, like I said, I have a reason now, is asking you to check out what Im bringing to music. Before you close out this window, lemme say I AM WAAAAY different than what you may think. Not a myspace rapper, an international nobody. If you ever come across ANY other artists or wanna be this week, month, whenever, let me be one you really give a fair listen. Youre in a great position right now as a transmitter of hip hop happenings and I promise you wont regret supporting me. My life is devoted to this.

If you like what you hear, then I’m just asking for a review or feature. If not, I’d be glad if you could just give me some pointers on what I can do to improve. The link to my 2nd EP thus far is below:

Once again, very good looking for reading this far. I am willing to help or promote you in any I can to repay you, because I really appreciate people that believe in creative, original music. Thank you.
