Video: Kanye West - Love Lockdown (LIVE)

So this is the new Kanye track that he’s been promising at the Video Music Awards, huh? Actually, I had low expectations, but I’m actually diggin’ this one. Kanye doesn’t rap (which is probably a good thing after hearing those wack lines in Graduation), and the track for some reason reminds me of Phil Collin’s “In the Air Tonight.” Am I stretching here? Probably.

Oh, and I forgot that the MTV VMAs were on last Sunday. I heard some teens on the Metro (dressed in 80s, of course) talking about Brittney Spears and Katy Perry and I just realized that I feel old right now. I mean real OLD. Like John McCain.

Kanye’s currently untitled album is supposed to drop sometime later this year.
