I thought Nas was going to drop a jewel with the title track. But when I heard it, I was kinda disappointed. Seems like Nasty Nas is all about album titles that create controversy these days. What folk do to move some units and stay in the public eye.

As much as I dislike the use of the word, if you can do it in a way that offers up a social think piece with some inherent redeeming value...then I have no qualms about that. But if you're just dropping the N-bomb every other line, then you're no different than most commercial and underground rappers on the market today.

BTW...I never thought Def Jam was going to release the album with that title anyway. Smelled like a publicity stunt from the get-go.
