Okay, I’ve made it a point not to cuss on this blog, but what the f*ck is this??????

Can someone please explain? Please?

Damn, I’m offended.

Anyway, work has been crazy this week (again) so I haven’t been able to post the articles I want. Look for new articles and a podcast sometime next week.

Welcome to the world of Ms. Peaches. He/She has a string of videos on YouTube celebrating America’s wonderful Jim Crow history. “Fryin’ Chicken,” “In the Tub,” and the video shown here - “From the Country” are pretty shocking in their use of old school coonery and minstrel antics. There are more in this vein as well.

The positive responses these videos get from the folks viewing them is what is very sad. There are plenty of “don’t hate on Ms. Peaches” remarks when someone dares to be critical.

I’m guessing that this is some type of viral marketing for a bigger project to come. She’s been mentioned in the Washington Post and other media outlets - so folks are aware of Ms. Peaches.

    Scary ain’t it…
