I remember hearing Take A Message day on KJLH in Los Angeles back in 2002 a week after new years day on the morning of January 8, 2002 while I was listening to Cliff Winston & The Hometeam and I thought Al Green released a new record. I go on the KJLH website and look at their playlist and look at their added songs and there it is "Remy Shand Take A Message". I'm now 30 and still that song. Heck I play that song as if it came out yesterday. No autotune just real raw & uncut R&B vocal's. I'm Mexican and love R&B music especially Neo Soul. He's channeling Al Green. That’s what wondering. I have been on here for almost a decade solid looking for some glimmer of hope that he will pop his head up and let people who truly are his fans know that he is ok or not... I wouldn't want to admit this but I will. When times are hard I don't want to show my face but it's time to break with tradition and lean on those who truly care about us... for you it is the ones you love and your fans. I make this promise to you Remy. I will do everything in my power to see to it that you see people (total strangers who were touched by your music) everywhere care about where you are and how you are doing because you took the time to deliver them strong, heartfelt music that still to this day set the tone for the day. The vocals were reminescent (spelling?). Anyway i found out it was Corinne Baily Rae's song "Closer". I wonder if he wrote it, played on it, something.
